Role: SEMH TA
Salary: £23 - £27k per Annum
Location: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am -3:30pm
Join our dynamic team in Crawley as a SEMH Teaching Assistant. Your role will involve supporting classroom activities, helping students with special educational needs, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
*Provide constructive and meaningful feedback on pupil behaviour, relationships, and attitudes.
*Support and promote positive behaviour and sustained concentration, adapting responses to changes or escalations in behaviour.
*Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to ensure they feel safe, engaged, and motivated to learn.
*Encourage independence and personal development while maintaining consistently high expectations of behaviour.
*Implement and adapt learning activities in collaboration with the teacher, reinforcing key learning concepts.
*Prepare and organise learning resources to effectively support lesson delivery.
*Assist in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, enabling all pupils to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
*A patient, caring and positive attitude
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
*Previous experience working with children in a school setting
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
