You will be joining a long-established, design-led workplace furniture and interiors business that partners with high-quality manufacturers across the UK and Europe to create inspiring, functional office environments where people genuinely love where they work. The company is known for its craftsmanship, adaptability, and collaborative approach, working closely with architects, designers, and project teams to deliver tailored workspace solutions from concept through to installation.
Your new role
*Maintain accurate bookkeeping using Sage Line 50
*Process weekly sales invoices and purchase invoices
*Manage accounts payable/receivable and supplier reconciliations
*Prepare and run payment schedules through Excel
*Reconcile petty cash, expenses, and credit card statements
*Complete regular bank reconciliations
*Monitor cash flow and highlight any variances
*Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts in Excel
*Produce financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and simple cash-flow summaries
*Support month-end duties including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
*Update internal trackers and provide insight on financial performance
*Maintain organised financial records
*Liaise with external accountants when needed
*Assist with year-end preparation and audit support
*Ensure compliance with internal finance processes
What you’ll need to succeed
*Strong experience in bookkeeping or management accounting
*Confident user of Sage Line 50
*Excellent Excel skills, including reporting
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow
*A proactive, organised, and reliable approach
