Job Description:
Exclusive to TPF Recruitment, we’re supporting a highly regarded accountancy practice based in Ashford in their search for an Accounts and Tax Manager.
This accountancy practice has built a strong reputation across Kent, acting for an impressive client base including owner managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporates. Due to continued growth and a focus on future succession planning, the partners are now looking to appoint an Accounts and Tax Manager as a key addition to their team.
As a Manager within the Ashford office, you will join the firm at an exciting stage in its development, with the opportunity to shape your career within a successful and expanding practice. You will take responsibility for managing and delivering accounts, tax and broader business services to a varied client portfolio, while building strong client relationships. The role will also involve advisory and planning work, alongside wider project-based assignments.
You will manage your own portfolio, support the directors, and play an important role in the ongoing development of the firm, with a clear and structured progression path available.
Requirements*You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within accounts and tax, and all around general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice environment.
*You will have at least 3-5 years experience with practice.
*Experience of VT, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks would be advantageous.
Benefits*£40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
