Service Manager - Residential Services
*Job Type: Contract
*Location: Doncaster (bases may vary)
*Daily Rate: £450 per day via umbrella
We are seeking a Service Manager for Residential Services, a strategic leader with experience in managing residential children’s homes and potentially acting as a Responsible Individual (RI). This role is crucial in ensuring our services meet all statutory and safeguarding requirements while driving high-quality care and positive outcomes.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee the operation of residential children’s homes, ensuring compliance with statutory and safeguarding requirements.
*Drive the delivery of high-quality care and positive outcomes for children.
*Manage budgets and resources effectively.
*Support and develop Home Managers and staff teams.
*Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external agencies.
*Lead service improvement initiatives and manage change within the homes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Relevant qualification in education, youth work, social care, healthcare, or management.
*Experience as a Service Manager in residential children’s services.
*Skilled in compliance, service improvement, and change management.
*Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
*Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
*RI experience is advantageous, with a willingness to be assessed for RI as needed.
