Business Development Manager


Location: Sevenoaks (Hybrid)


Salary: Up to £55,000 base + OTE £90,000


We’re working with a growing commercial maintenance business that is investing in its next phase of growth. This is a key hire – an individual contributor role with a clear route to Sales Director within 12 months for the right person.


You’ll take ownership of new business generation, building a pipeline across SMEs while also having exposure to larger, Tier 1 clients as the business continues to scale.


The role:


*Drive new business across commercial maintenance services
*Build and manage a consistent pipeline of SME clients
*Identify and win opportunities within fire protection, compliance, or maintenance contracts
*Engage and develop relationships with key decision-makers (FM, Ops, Estates)
*Work closely with leadership to shape the sales strategy and growth plan
*Support the transition from founder-led sales to a structured sales function


What we’re looking for:


*Proven track record in B2B sales within maintenance, fire protection, or lift services
*Experience selling into SME markets, with the ability to step into larger accounts
*Comfortable operating as a standalone contributor in a growing business
*Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage longer sales cycles
*Ambition to step into a Sales Director role in the near term
