Job Description*BIM Manager - Contract Opportunity
Hybrid (60% office) - Manchester (preferred), Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Blackpool, Glasgow
Inside IR35 | Competitive Day Rate (£350 per day)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join a growing Asset Information Management (AIM) team within a major public sector estate. The team is driving digital transformation and developing the "golden thread" of asset information across project delivery and facilities management.
As a BIM Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping BIM strategy, assuring information quality, and enabling effective handover into asset management systems.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead BIM strategy, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework.
*Manage and maintain AIR, EIR, and digital handover standards.
*Oversee BIM assurance, audits, quality checks, and data validation.
*Support integration of BIM with CAFM/IWMS systems.
*Ensure effective use of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
*Mentor BIM team members and support digital best practice.
*Drive stakeholder engagement, training, and innovation.
Required Experience
*Strong background in BIM strategy aligned with ISO 19650.
*Experience creating and managing AIR, EIR, and structured data outputs such as COBie and IFC.
*Advanced skills in Revit, Navisworks, and major CDE platforms.
*Experience supporting digital handovers into FM/asset management systems.
*Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Technical Skills
*Autodesk Revit (advanced)
*Navisworks Manage
*CDE platforms: ACC, Asite, ProjectWise, Viewpoint
*Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Planner, Power BI
*Advantageous: Solibri, basic Dynamo knowledge

*Security Clearance: BPSS required
