Job title – Systems Integration & Automation Specialist
Location – Remote with occasional office attendance (once per month in Manchester)
Contract – Temporary
Hours – 35 hours per week,
Start Date – ASAP
The Role Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Systems Integration & Automation Specialist to support the development and optimisation of integrated systems and automation processes. This role will play a key part in improving API delivery, streamlining workflows, and supporting platform transitions.
Your key duties within the role will include:
*Design, develop, and maintain system integrations across multiple platforms
*Build and optimise APIs to improve efficiency and scalability
*Support and enhance housing management system integrations (including platforms such as Aareon QL or similar)
*Automate business processes using Microsoft technologies
*Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement system improvements
*Contribute to the transition and onboarding of new platforms
Requirements
*Strong experience working within Microsoft environments
*Proven experience developing and managing APIs
*Solid knowledge of SQL Server
*Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
*Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Automate)
*Background in systems integration and automation
*Experience working with housing management systems (e.g. Aareon QL) is highly desirable
