Do you want to play a key role in crafting parts for the aerospace industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Polisher/Fettler to join our night shift team in a dynamic machine shop environment!
What You’ll Do:As a Polisher/Fettler, you’ll ensure aerospace components meet the highest standards of quality and finish. Your key responsibilities will include:
*Deburring and removing sharp edges using files, scrapers, and rotary tools.
*Grinding and polishing steel and aluminum components to exact drawing specifications.
*Performing light polishing and finishing work on various parts.
*Conducting visual inspections of completed products.
*Completing accurate documentation and maintaining records.
*Working to ISO , and 9001 standards.
*Supporting our Energy team by identifying energy savings opportunities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:We want team members who take pride in quality, precision, and safety. You will need:
*Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
*Physical fitness and stamina to stand or sit for long periods.
*Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
*Motivation, honesty, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
*Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
*Willingness to work overtime when required.
*Experience using measuring and inspection equipment is preferred.
