We are currently working with a well-established business based in Kidderminster who are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales ledger professional to join a busy finance team and make an immediate impact.
The RoleReporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the sales ledger function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all processes.
Key Responsibilities*Processing daily sales invoicing accurately and efficiently

*Producing and reviewing daily sales reports

*Posting and allocating customer receipts

*Preparing and maintaining the daily invoice discounting report

*Managing credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments

*Producing and distributing monthly customer statements of account

Candidate Profile*Previous experience in a sales ledger / accounts receivable role

*Strong understanding of invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control

*High level of accuracy and attention to detail

*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

*Good communication skills when liaising with customers and internal teams

*Confident user of Excel and finance systems
