Job Description:
Your new companyA long-established specialist tax consultancy that helps organisations unlock value through R&D tax incentives, cost segregation, energy-efficiency credits, and other government-backed tax benefits. Backed by decades of technical expertise across tax, engineering, and finance, they work with businesses and professional advisers to boost cash flow, strengthen compliance, and navigate complex, ever-changing tax legislation
Your new role
*Build and manage a targeted list of accountancy firms.
*Research firms to understand their client mix and industry focus.
*Engage partners and senior managers through thoughtful and professional outreach.
*Explain clearly how and when R&D tax work should transition from generalist handling to specialist expertise.
*Develop long-term referral relationships based on trust and technical credibility.
*Coordinate introductions between accountants, their clients, and our technical team.
*Maintain CRM records and track referrals, engagement activity, and account progress.
*Attend relevant accountancy, tax, and finance events.
*Share insights on market trends and partner needs to support strategic planning.
*Learn and apply the consultative sales process from research and discovery through to pitching and supporting the Innovation Consultant.
