Job Description:
This is a hands-on, commercially strategic role that will give you end-to-end ownership of key food categories and cross-functional exposure. Our client is a fast growing restaurant business, looking for someone with strong food procurement experience who is able to hit the ground running.

Our client is a fast-growing, mission-driven restaurant group known for serving fresh, responsibly sourced food and rapidly expanding across the UK and Europe.
Description
Key responsibilities include:
*Lead sourcing and procurement across key food categories.
*Drive commercial negotiation, cost-of-sales management, and mitigation strategies.
*Analyse category performance, supply markets, and cost drivers to inform strategy.
*Partner closely across the business on new product development (NPD) and menu innovation.
*Own supplier sourcing, onboarding, relationship management, scorecarding and performance reviews.
*Conduct RFPs, contract negotiations, tenders, and commercial evaluations.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
*Food procurement experience, ideally within QSR, restaurant groups, food manufacturing, or FMCG.
*Category experience in proteins and produce strongly preferred.
*Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation experience.
*Analytical mindset: able to interpret data, cost structures and supply-market intelligence.
*End-to-end supplier management experience.
*Comfortable working cross-functionally and taking ownership for the categories.
Job Offer
On offer to the candidate:
*c.£60,000-£70,000 plus package.
*Hybrid working - 3 days pw in London office.
*Opportunity to develop skills and experience within a 9+ month FTC.
