Service Engineer / Mechanical Fitter
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 per annum
Location: Keynsham, Bristol
Contract: Permanent, full-time


The Company:

A growing Bristol based company specialises in packaging machinery, including carton sleeving and other packaging solutions. With customers across the UK and Europe it’s an exciting time to join a company leading the way in innovative packaging.


The Role:

As a Mechanical Fitter / Service Engineer, you will work within the workshop to assemble, build, test and commission a range of flexible packaging machinery.

*Assembly and build of new machines and sub-assemblies
*Mechanical installation, including pneumatics
*Testing and setting up customer products prior to on-site commissioning
*Supporting on-site commissioning where required


The Service Engineer:

*We are looking for a mechanically skilled professional who can work independently, problem-solve and use their initiative.
*Relevant mechanical engineering skills, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
*Previous experience in mechanical assembly, build, or engineering
*Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
