Reed Technology is working with an established company based in Edinburgh, currently seeking to hire a IT Support Engineer on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
*Serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related queries across the business.
*Deliver high-quality, customer-focused technical support both onsite and remotely.
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to hardware, software, networking, end-user devices, and core business applications.
*Carry out account administration tasks such as creating new users, resetting passwords, and managing permissions.
*Maintain and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment.
*Work closely with the Head of IT to refine workflows, enhance IT processes, and promote best-practice standards.
*Occasionally travel to other office sites across Scotland as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Solid experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role.
*Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and wider Microsoft technologies.
*Experience supporting Windows and macOS devices.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
*Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
