Are you passionate about supporting young people’s wellbeing?

Prospero Teaching is recruiting Mental Health Support Workers to work across Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in Dorset.


You will play a key role in helping pupils manage emotional, social and mental health needs, ensuring they feel supported, safe and ready to learn.


The Role
*Providing 1:1 and small-group emotional wellbeing support
*Supporting pupils with anxiety, low mood, trauma or social difficulties
*Helping students develop coping strategies and resilience
*Working with pastoral, SEN and safeguarding teams
*Monitoring pupil progress and wellbeing
*Promoting a positive, inclusive school environment


Who We’re Looking For
*Experience in mental health, youth work, counselling, SEN or support roles
*Calm, patient and empathetic
*Confident managing sensitive situations
*Ability to build trust and positive relationships
*Strong communication and safeguarding awareness
*DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
