Hours: 37.5 hours per week (will consider 30 hours per week but must be over 5 days a week)
Salary: £30,065 - £33,433 per annum, depending on experience

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an exceptional Assistant to provide high quality, proactive support to our CEO. This is a key role at the centre of the organisation, requiring strong prioritisation, excellent communication and the ability to bring structure and calm to a fast moving environment. You will help the CEO operate at her best by staying one step ahead, ensuring effective follow through and supporting strategic coordination across the organisation.
Your Role
As Assistant to the CEO, you will provide confidential administrative and organisational support, ensuring smooth communication and an efficient flow of work. You will manage the CEO’s diary, prepare well structured documents, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and act as a trusted representative of the CEO’s office.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
*High level diary management and prioritisation
*Managing emails, correspondence and calls, responding where appropriate
*Preparing briefing papers, agendas, presentations and reports
*Acting as a gatekeeper and handling sensitive information discreetly
*Communication & Stakeholder Liaison
*Serving as a key point of contact for teams, partners and stakeholders
*Supporting engagement activities, meetings and events
*Drafting and editing professional communications
*Collating information for briefings and updates
Operational & Project Support
*Tracking actions, deadlines and contributions to CEO led projects
*Supporting planning for events, away days and strategic sessions
*Identifying improvements to administrative processes
Governance & Board Support
*Supporting Board and committee activity with scheduling and papers
*Ensuring actions from meetings are communicated and completed
General Administration
*Maintaining organised records and filing systems
*Processing expenses and supporting budget tracking
*Providing occasional cover for senior leadership colleagues
About You
You will be highly organised, proactive and confident working with senior leaders. You thrive in a busy environment, manage multiple priorities effectively and quickly build strong relationships. Discretion, professionalism and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You anticipate needs, maintain a solutions focused approach and enjoy bringing order to complexity.
