Production Assistant
Banbury
£25,000
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:30
The Role:
Our client is looking for a Production Assistant to join their manufacturing team. You will be responsible for building and assembling equipment to production schedules, ensuring high quality standards throughout. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical, technical work and takes pride in producing quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
*Build finished products and sub-assemblies to production schedules
*Wiring and soldering of electronic components
*Testing assembled units to quality standards
*Configuring PCs and setting up radio channels
*Once trained, calibrating completed units ready for dispatch
*Maintaining a clean and organised work area
*Following health and safety procedures
*Flagging any quality issues or production delays
Essential:
*Practical, hands-on approach with good manual dexterity
*Experience with wiring, soldering or electronics assembly
*Ability to follow technical instructions and work to specifications
*Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Reliable and able to work to deadlines
*Comfortable using PCs and basic software
Desirable:
*Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
*Knowledge of electronic testing equipment
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (3 days reserved for Christmas closure)
Full training provided on our products and calibration processes
Office-based role in Banbury with a friendly, supportive team
