We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing housebuilding business. This is a multi-tasking role that is integral to the business function, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior management, buyers, and engineering contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage cost control and contractual obligations across multiple construction projects
*Conduct monthly audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
*Work closely with senior management, buyers, and contractors to monitor budgets, forecasts, and procurement processes
*Use COINS system to track costs, commitments, and payments
*Assist in project planning, valuation, and reporting to maintain financial oversight
*Ensure all work complies with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
Essential Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within housebuilding or construction
*Experience of engineering, highways and ground investigation
*Strong knowledge of COINS system or similar construction accounting software
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
*Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
