REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional responsible for the company products as per production drawings and works orders with strict adherence to quality standard. Welders must be coded to BSEN ISO 9606-1:2017 (Current).
Working in conjunction with the onsite Management Team to ensure compliance with industry and safety standards so our colleagues are kept safe.
Principle Accountabilities
*Welding coded steel materials to a minimum standard set out within BS EN 287
*Follow and understand production drawings and works orders
*Operation of touchscreen computers
*Be aware of and always adhere to health and safety rules and regulations in respect of PPR and RPE
*Responsible for pre-shift checks and reporting any issues
*Previous use of manipulator would be beneficial
*Responsible for achieving daily targets as required
*Be aware of and always adhere to Health & Safety policies and requirements for a Production environment; See it, Stop it, Report it
*Undertake Training and Continuous Improvement opportunities
*Any other reasonable duties within your skills remit to support the operational duties of the department or company
Qualifications
*WPQR MIG Welding Qualifications preferred (or equivalent)
*FLT Licence would be beneficial
*Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks
