Home Administrator
Reports To: Registered Manager
Job Summary:
To support the Manager, staff and residents in administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the Home and meet Head Office deadlines on financial procedures and all information returns.
Home Administrator - Role Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the collection of data to enable invoicing to be carried out by the finance team. Including notification of new residents, deceased residents or any other details relevant to the residents stay within the Home.
*To be a point of contact for relatives, friends and external teams
*Support rota management and collate information and complete the weekly/monthly payroll return, to include hours worked, sickness, holidays, starters and leavers, for submission to the HR team in a timely and accurate manner to meet the payroll deadline.
*Assist in the preparation, collation and dispatch of management information.
*Place purchase orders with approved suppliers, complying with procedures, to maintain appropriate stock levels and controls and ensure expenditure is contained within agreed budget limits.
*Provide clerical support to the Manager and, when appropriate other staff, including minute taking, diary management, word processing, photocopying, filing and maintaining personal records.
*To maintain Resident confidentiality and privacy.
*To attend staff meetings and staff training sessions as required.
*To adhere to Home Policies and Procedures.

Home Administrator - Person Specification:
*Essential/Desirable
*Hold or work towards NVQ in Computer Studies or Administration or equivalent qualifications
*3 years’ clerical experience
*Knowledge/Skills & Abilities
*Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
*Effective interpersonal skills and professional telephone manner
*Have a positive attitude to clients and visitors to the home
*Display a commitment to self development
*Establish good relationships with all staff within the company
*To be able to prioritise own workload
