Job Description:
OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Sales Ledger Clerk to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Warwick. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales ledger professional looking for flexible, part-time hours.
Please note, the role is currently based in Warwick but will relocate to a new office in Coventry from September, so flexibility to travel to both locations is required.
Key Responsibilities*Raising and processing sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
*Managing the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded
*Monitoring customer accounts and maintaining up-to-date records
*Chasing outstanding payments and supporting credit control activities
*Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
*Investigating and resolving invoice queries and discrepancies
*Assisting with month-end processes related to sales ledger
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
Person Specification*Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role
*Good understanding of invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control processes
*Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
*Competent user of Excel and finance systems
Additional Information*Flexible working pattern across 2-3 days per week (approx. 19 hours)
