A Chartered, independently owned wealth planning firm with offices across Kent is looking to appoint an experienced IFA Administrator.
The business manages the affairs of approximately 2,000 clients with over £600m in assets under management, advising high-net-worth individuals, retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners across Kent, Sussex, and London. Advice spans pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, cashflow modelling, protection, and more specialist areas such as VCT and EIS schemes. The firm has long-standing referral relationships with accountancy and solicitor practices and operates with a genuine focus on client outcomes rather than volume — advisers are not targeted, which speaks to the culture of the place.
The support team is experienced, collaborative, and well-resourced, with a pooled team of administrators and paraplanners working across two offices. Professional development is actively encouraged, with ongoing CPD and industry exams supported as a matter of course. This is an environment where people are genuinely invested in.
The role itself requires at least three years of solid administration experience within an independent financial planning practice, along with a well-rounded understanding of the end-to-end administration process. You will be working within the pooled admin team alongside both junior colleagues and an experienced paraplanning function. Knowledge of Intelligent Office would be a strong advantage, as would familiarity with platforms such as Novia, Fidelity, Transact and Aviva.
Salary is up to £40,000 depending on experience, with bonuses, a pension scheme, an attractive benefits package and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
