Financial Consultant | North West | Outside IR35

We’re supporting a newly carved out business undergoing a major transformation following an acquisition. The business is looking for a hands-on senior finance leader who can take ownership of the carve-out and build the finance environment from scratch.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who thrives in complexity, enjoys building, and wants a clear succession path to CFO.
You’ll work directly with the CFO to lead the end-to-end finance elements of the carve-out and integration programme.

Responsibilities
*Lead the finance separation and manage a smooth transition
*Build all finance systems, processes and reporting from the ground up
*Oversee amalgamation of existing systems and deliver the new group-wide Sage platform
*Develop the full MIS suite including Power BI dashboards and board reporting
*Own finance controls, governance, budgeting, forecasting and cash management
About You
*Background as Finance Director / Group FC / Group FD
*Experience in carve-outs, integrations or major finance transformations
*Strong systems experience (Sage/Sage 200, ERP implementation, system setup)
*Proven ability in building MIS, reporting, dashboards (Power BI essential)
*Confident partnering with senior leadership, investors and multiple sites
