REED/LTA are seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a lovely rural primary school in Preston. This part-time position is perfect for someone looking to work in the afternoons, starting after Easter and continuing until the summer. The role is ideal for candidates who have experience teaching Year 2 and are passionate about contributing to the educational journey of young children.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Year 2 students.
*Assess and record students’ progress, preparing reports as needed.
*Create a nurturing and safe learning environment.
*Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.
*Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in teaching Year 2 is preferred.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Ability to foster a positive learning environment.
