Accounts Semi-Senior – Peterborough – Top 10 Firm

Accounts Semi-Senior responsibilities include:
*Preparing financial statements in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards from source documents/records to final accounts for review by the appropriate manager
*Preparing accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the financial statements
*Working on a wide range of accounts including FRS102, FRS102 1A, partnerships and consolidations
*Developing and maintaining good client relations
*Liaising with clients directly or through relevant managers to resolve queries or obtain further information
As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be/have:
*AAT Qualified or studying towards ACCA, or ACA
*Strong practical knowledge/experience of accounts preparation with at least two to three years’ experience within an accountancy practice environment
*Strong double entry knowledge and skill
*Cloud based accounting systems knowledge – use of Xero and QuickBooks knowledge would be beneficial
*Basic tax knowledge - awareness of how to do tax computations, PAYE, VAT
