Dovetailors is seeking a motivated CNC Operator to produce high-quality machined wooden components for our innovative furniture projects. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, values craftsmanship, and enjoys working as part of a supportive workshop team.
What You’ll Do
*Operate CNC machines (SCM 5-axis and Axyz 3-axis).
*Set up machines, load programs, and complete basic edits for accuracy.
*Read and interpret CAD/CAM models and cutting lists.
*Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet required standards.
*Complete manufacturing orders within the MRP system.
*Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
*Support waste-to-fuel processes (wood shredder and briquette machine).
*Contribute to workshop organisation and continuous improvement.
