On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Receptionist, for an initial 6-month contract based in Leeds. It will be an office based.
Purpose of the role:
A Leeds-based Receptionist / Welcome Experience Assistant role responsible for delivering a professional front-of-house service, ensuring a positive experience for visitors and staff. The position supports administrative and facilities tasks, acts as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, and plays an integral role within the Workplace Facilities Management Team.
What you’ll do:
*Deliver professional front-of-house reception services, welcoming visitors and managing calls with excellent customer care.
*Coordinate meeting rooms, bookings, AV/IT support, and catering/hospitality for a seamless office experience.
*Manage mail, couriers, taxis, and general office logistics efficiently.
*Handle administrative tasks, data input, stationery management, and document support.
*Support facilities operations, including maintenance reporting, team assistance, and health & safety responsibilities (First Aid/Fire Marshal).
What you’ll need:
*Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner
*Proficient in MS Office Suite
*Flexible, cooperative, and positive ("can-do") attitude
*Diligent with strong attention to detail
*Desirable: experience with booking systems (Concur, CAFM, Condeco) and willingness to gain First Aid, Fire Marshal, and IOSH training
