Job Description:
Working from a home base you will be the technical lead on the more complex domestic and commercial subsidence claims, providing expert guidance to colleagues and clients.
*Managing complex subsidence investigations from first visit to final resolution
*Visiting damaged properties to assess structural, technical and insurance related issues
*Designing and overseeing stabilisation schemes and repair strategies
*Producing high quality technical reports, specifications and tender documents
*Interpreting geotechnical investigations and advising on foundation solutions
*Administering building contracts, valuations and variations
*Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, Planning, CDM and Party Wall legislation
*Working closely with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters, contractors and local authorities
About you:
Our client is seeking someone with the technical depth and confidence to handle highly complex subsidence cases.
You will ideally have:
*MRICS or MCIOB or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying or a related discipline
*Strong experience in subsidence investigation and building pathology
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work independently
*A flexible mindset and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment
*Solid understanding of buildings insurance, contract administration and construction law
*UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits:
*Salary up to £65,000 per annum
