What will the Financial Controller role involve?
*Leading the financial management function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting aligned with business goals, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
*Overseeing the integrity of the balance sheet, including reconciliation processes and ensuring all financial data is fully evidenced and understood.
*Managing statutory and regulatory compliance, including liaising with auditors and handling all aspects of external reporting.
*Driving cash flow planning, forecasting, and optimisation to ensure sustainable financial health.
*Supporting project financials and departmental budgets, providing analysis and recommendations to influence business growth.
*Enhancing internal processes through continual review and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
*Leading, developing, and motivating the finance team to deliver high standards of performance.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:
*ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
*Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a complex or fast-growing organisation.
*Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
*Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
*Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
*A forward-thinking and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
