HR Advisor (Temporary Contract – Winsford)
£17.85 per hour
Full-time | Immediate Start | On-site in Winsford
We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to support a busy HR team on a temporary basis. This role provides hands-on support to managers across a full range of HR activities, including employee relations, policy development, organisational change and people data insights.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide professional HR advice to managers on absence, performance, recruitment, promotion and workforce planning.
*Support HR casework—including sickness management, grievances, disciplinaries and capability—ensuring fair and consistent handling.
*Coach and upskill managers in applying people policies and best practice.
*Contribute to ongoing development and review of HR policies, procedures and frameworks.
*Assist with organisational change initiatives, team reviews and restructures, ensuring clear communication and smooth implementation.
*Analyse people data to identify trends and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
*Work collaboratively with internal departments such as Occupational Health, Finance and Legal, as well as external partners, to support effective HR delivery.
*Support the delivery of training sessions for managers alongside L&D colleagues.
*Take on additional HR project work as required by senior HR leadership.
What We’re Looking For
*Solid experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
*Strong background in managing employee relations from start to finish.
*Confident in coaching managers and providing practical, solutions-focused advice.
*Excellent knowledge of HR policies and ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
*Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
