Shunter / Loader – High Wycombe
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:45pm – 11:15pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
A leading manufacturing and distribution operation in High Wycombe is seeking a Shunter/Loader to join their busy logistics team. The successful candidate will play a key part in the safe movement of vehicles on-site, loading goods efficiently, and supporting distribution operations in a fast-paced environment.
The work involves handling high-quality, bespoke products and contributing to a professional, customer-focused delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
*Safely shunting vehicles around the yard and into loading bays.
*Assisting with loading and unloading products with accuracy and care, ensuring items are prepared correctly for upcoming deliveries.
*Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or safety concerns.
*Supporting adherence to DVLA regulations and overall site safety procedures.
*Providing support to drivers by preparing loads based on the planned distribution schedule.
Requirements
*Valid 7.5-tonne licence (C1).
*CPC / Driver Qualification Card and Digital Tacho Card. [uk.indeed.com]
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repeated loading activities.
*Strong communication skills and a professional, reliable work ethic.
*Flexible and safety-conscious team player.
