Special Educational Needs (SEN) Educator - LiverpoolPosition: SEN English Teacher

Randstad Education is currently seeking an empathetic and skilled English Specialist with SEN experience for a rewarding long-term placement in Liverpool. Responsibilities:In this role, you won’t just be teaching; you’ll be transforming the educational experience for students with complex needs. Your daily responsibilities will involve:
*Bespoke Lesson Delivery: Designing and leading interactive English sessions tailored to various learning styles and abilities.
*Curriculum Customisation: Utilising P Scales and modified frameworks to ensure every student can access and succeed in their education.
*Holistic Support: Cultivating a safe, encouraging space that priorities student mental health and personal growth.
*Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with support staff and therapists to provide a unified approach to student welfare.
*Dignified Care: Offering personal care assistance when required to ensure student comfort and safety.
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must bring a blend of professional credentials and genuine heart:
*Credentials: You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*Proven Track Record: Previous experience navigating the unique challenges and rewards of a UK SEN classroom.
*Technical Knowledge: Literacy in adaptive teaching methods and assessment tools for non-traditional learners.
*Core Values: Exceptional patience, a collaborative spirit, and a "student-first" mindset.
*Security: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one immediately) is essential.
