LEGAL CASHIER

Earning: c£16.50 p/h
Based in: Windsor
Working Style: Office Based
Term: Temporary, start 23/03

A fantastic opportunity to join the finance/accounts department of a well-established law firm. We’re looking for temporary Legal Cashier to support our client whilst they start the search for a permanent cashier.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of legal finance processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency across the firm, including:

*Maintaining accurate client and office ledgers, monitoring client account balances and resolving discrepancies
*Processing client receipts, payments and transfers, including the handling of CHAPS, BACS, cheques and online payments
*Processing legal bills, disbursements and expense payments and allocating payments to the correct matters and clients
*Performing monthly bank reconciliations and reconciling client and office accounts
*Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes, including producing financial and management report
What you’ll need.

*Proven experience working in a cashiering role, preferably within a law firm
*Strong knowledge of legal accounting rules and client account procedures
*Experience using legal accounting and practice management systems
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
