Job Description:
T2M have been retained to recruit a Finance Director for a Worcestershire based company that is a subsidiary of a multi-national corporation. With annual turnover more than £10m the company supports the manufacturing sector with hi-tech solutions and services. The company has a great culture and highly flexible hybrid working policy making this a highly desirable career opportunity.
Working as part of the senior leadership team, this Finance Director remit also has responsibility for HR, Commercial, Company Secretarial / legal and other business support functions so you can be assured of a highly varied and interesting role – it also means that you need to be comfortable operating at leadership level whilst being prepared to ’roll your sleeves up’ and cover more functional tasks as business needs arise.
In addition to working as part of the local management team, you will also be the key stakeholder for ensuring that all group reporting and information requests are met in a timely manner. The role will be Worcestershire based but they may also be the occasional opportunity to travel to international finance meetings.
To be successful in the role we require a candidate who meets the following criteria:
*Fully qualified accountant with a solid track record of progression
*Experienced member of a senior leadership team at subsidiary / divisional level of a group structure with the ability to meet local and parent company reporting requirements
*Technically strong accountant (e.g. robust controls & compliance) with great commercial awareness and the ability to multi-task and work cross functionally
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Prior experience of leading and participating in projects would be beneficial
*Experience of R&D and / or recurring revenue streams would be beneficial
*A genuine interest in being part of the team that runs the business
