Robotic Systems Software Control Developer
Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire
Salary: £40,000 – £65,000 per annum (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and hands-on Software Developer to join a growing, innovative technology business at the forefront of robotic systems development. You will play a key role in developing software that directly controls advanced robotic systems, ensuring they perform precise and complex tasks required by global customers.

Key Responsibilities*Hardware and software integration
*Motion control and sequencing development
*Computer vision implementation
*Rapid prototyping and system testing
*Developing control systems for robotic testing equipment
*Leading or contributing to independent development projects
About YouYou are a practical, hands-on developer with a passion for solving complex problems and working closely with hardware. You enjoy both teamwork and independent project ownership, and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
You will also demonstrate:
*Strong problem-solving ability and creative thinking
*Excellent communication skills
*Adaptability and a proactive mindset
Skills & Experience Required*Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
*Experience with C/C++
*Experience with .NET
*Experience with Python
*Interest in hardware systems and machine control
Additional Information*Occasional international travel may be required
*The majority of customers are based overseas, particularly in the USA and China
