Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer - Leeds
£38,000 - £42,000
A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Leeds is looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on more responsibility, with a good balance of technical delivery, project management, and mentoring.
You’ll be working across a range of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, playing a key role in delivering reports and supporting the wider team.
What you’ll be doing:
*Managing site investigations from planning through to completion
*Writing and reviewing Phase I and Phase II reports
*Carrying out risk assessments (GQRA/DQRA)
*Designing remediation strategies where required
*Acting as a point of contact for clients
*Supporting and mentoring junior team members
*Liaising with regulators and ensuring compliance
What we are looking for:
*Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or similar
*Strong experience within a geoenvironmental / contaminated land role
*Confident report writing and interpretation skills
*Experience managing projects and overseeing site works
*Good understanding of UK guidance and regulations
*Chartership (or working towards it) is desirable
