*Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
*Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
*Analyse financial data and provide insights to improve business performance.
*Oversee VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
*Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance team.
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:
*A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
*Proven experience in financial accounting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
*Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations.
*Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
