Job Description:
We are currently partnering with a well-established, family-run wholesale supplier within the textiles and homewares sector to recruit an Account Manager & Commercial Support Executive. With a strong reputation across the education, healthcare and hospitality sectors, the business continues to grow while maintaining a collaborative and supportive culture.
This is a varied, commercially focused role combining account management, sales support and business development. It would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, has a proactive mindset, and is motivated by contributing to revenue growth.


The OpportunityThis position offers a blend of responsibilities across three key areas:
*Managing and growing a portfolio of existing accounts (primarily universities and NHS clients across London)
*Supporting the Commercial Sales Director with day-to-day coordination and sales activity
*Contributing to new business initiatives and wider commercial growth
This is not a purely administrative role — you’ll be encouraged to take ownership of your accounts and actively identify opportunities to upsell and expand business.


Key Responsibilities*Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of university and NHS clients, managing relationships and handling queries
*Prepare and issue quotations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with stock availability
*Coordinate with internal teams (including logistics and warehouse) to ensure timely and smooth order fulfilment
*Send product samples and follow up to convert enquiries into confirmed orders
*Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling
*Make outbound calls to prospective clients, qualifying leads and arranging meetings for senior sales staff
*Maintain accurate records within CRM systems, ensuring all client interactions are logged
*Provide general support to the Commercial Sales Director, including administrative and coordination tasks
*Collaborate with the wider team on initiatives to develop new sectors and business opportunities


What We’re Looking For*Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with clients across education, healthcare and property sectors
*Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
*A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine interest in sales and business development
*Previous experience in account management, sales support, or a customer-facing commercial role
*Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM/order management systems
*A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to get involved across different areas of the business
