Job Description:
We’re looking for an Assembly Technician to join us at Ronford Baker Engineering and become part of a business where precision, craftsmanship and product quality genuinely matter. You’ll play a hands-on role in building and maintaining equipment trusted across the global film and television industry, with work that you can take real pride in.
We have a global reputation built over the last 50 years for some old-fashioned (and increasingly rare) engineering and manufacturing qualities, such as extremely high product quality, longevity, and robustness. Our products are recognised as the highest quality platforms available for both studio and location shooting.

Your responsibilities as Assembly Technician at Ronford Baker
*Assemble a range of precision-engineered products to exacting standards
*Disassemble, service, and repair specialist camera support equipment
*Use hand tools alongside manual lathes and milling machines
*Maintain consistent quality across all builds and repairs
*Identify faults and carry out effective troubleshooting
*Support increased production output without compromising standards
What we’re looking for in an Assembly Technician
*Previous experience assembling, servicing, and repairing precision equipment
*Experience using manual lathes and milling machines
*Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
*Proven ability to work independently on technical tasks
*High level of accuracy when working with mechanical components
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 3:30pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm
