Job Title: Electromechanical Technician (Vehicle-Based)

Salary: £18 – £20 per hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our clients team in Basildon. This role involves working on vehicles, handling both electrical and mechanical components to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
*Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on vehicles
*Installing, maintaining, and testing electromechanical systems
*Reading and interpreting technical diagrams and wiring schematics
*Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
*Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety regulations
Requirements:
*Previous experience in an electromechanical role (automotive experience preferred)
*Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems
*Ability to read technical drawings and fault-find effectively
*Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team
