Accounts CoordinatorFull time, Permanent
Location: Bedford
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Coordinator to join a growing business based in Bedford. This role will support the finance team across both purchase and sales ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities for an Accounts Coordinator:Accounts Payable:
*Processing purchase invoices, credit notes and employee expenses accurately and on time
*Ensuring invoices are authorised and coded correctly, including CIS deductions
*Reconciling supplier statements and following up on any discrepancies
*Assisting with payment runs, remittance advice and company card transactions
Accounts Receivable:
*Raising and processing sales invoices with correct VAT and project coding
*Uploading invoices to customer portals and accounting systems (e.g. Xero)
*Chasing overdue payments and resolving customer queries, raising credit notes and internal recharge invoices as required
General:
*Providing ad hoc support to the finance team
*Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and customers
*Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting reporting
Key Skills for an Accounts Coordinator:*1–2 years’ experience within a finance or accounts role
*Knowledge of VAT, CIS and HMRC guidelines
*Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Xero)
