They work towards environmental, social, and governance principles, minimising their ecological footprint, reducing carbon emissions, and conserving natural resources.
Responsibilities
*Accept and transfer of hazardous waste between landfills and treatment facilities.
*Monitor incoming materials, ensuring compliance.
*Communicate non-confirming waste streams and liaise with staff members to ensure proper transfer.
*Responsible for housekeeping duties, such as regular stock checks and reporting any changes to the Pad supervisors.
*Responsible for administrative tasks, such as data logging and maintaining production records.
Essential criteria
*Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
*An interest in sustainability, waste management and hazardous waste handling.
*Client-focused, be articulate in verbal and written communication.
*Able to carry out physical field work under various weather conditions.
*Be adaptable to unexpected operational changes, while keeping processes efficient.
Desirable
*Forklift licence
