Job Description:
A residential block management company is looking to appoint a Senior Property Manager to join an experienced team.
This role is suited to an experienced block manager who is confident managing a complex portfolio and supporting junior team members while working closely with senior leadership to maintain high service standards across the business.
The company focuses on quality of management rather than volume and is looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a high level of service to clients and residents.
The RoleManaging a residential leasehold portfolio while also acting as a senior figure within the team, supporting Property Managers and Junior Property Managers and helping to maintain consistent standards across the department.
You will be responsible for budgets, major works, compliance, client relationships and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities*Managing a portfolio of residential leasehold developments
*Preparing and overseeing service charge budgets
*Planning and delivering Section 20 and major works projects
*Carrying out regular site inspections
*Managing contractors and service agreements
*Overseeing health and safety compliance
*Handling arrears and working with accounts on recovery
*Leading client and director meetings
*Supporting junior team members
*Ensuring accurate reporting to senior management
The Person*Strong residential block / leasehold management experience
*Comfortable managing complex developments
*Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
*Good knowledge of service charges and compliance
*Strong communication skills
*Stable work history preferred
