Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced digital communications and mailing environment? We are seeking a dedicated Mailroom Administrator to join our clients dynamic team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working with data, and is eager to contribute to a bustling operation.

Department: Managed Services
Reports to: Team Leader
What You’ll Do:
As a Mailroom Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of client documentation and data. Your responsibilities will include:
*Opening and categorising incoming mail for scanning, including letters and cherished items.
*Scanning, electronically categorising, and archiving mail.
*Printing, packing, and posting outgoing correspondence and cheques.
*Processing incoming cheques, including scanning and electronic banking.
*Data entry for brochures and surveys.
*Archiving and retrieving documents from the warehouse.
*Picking, packing, and dispatching items locally and internationally.
*Supporting the handpack department during peak workloads.
*Bulk shredding of documents and hard drives.
*Assisting with ad hoc mailroom duties, including mail collection from the delivery office.
The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who is reliable and dependable, with the following skills and experience:
Essential:
*Previous experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.
*Proficient in using scanners, copiers, and Microsoft Office (especially email, Word, and Excel).
Desirable:
*Familiarity with mailing processes and environments.
*Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
*Knowledge of information security practises.
Education:
GCSE English & Math Grade C or above preferred, but not essential.
Personal Characteristics:
*Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
*Committed, flexible team worker who is adaptable and willing to learn.
*Proactive with a strong initiative.
*Comfortable working in both office and industrial environments.
