Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bridgwater seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team from January through July 2026 on a part time basis Monday & Tuesday.
About the Role*Teach a Year 1 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons.
*Plan and implement a curriculum that supports early literacy and numeracy development.
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
What We’re Looking For*Strong knowledge and experience in phonics (essential).
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS1.
*A passion for supporting young learners to achieve their full potential.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
