Role: Property Finance Paralegal

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000
Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid

I’m working with a well?established national law firm as they look to appoint a Property Finance Paralegal to join their highly regarded team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your experience within a specialist practice that advises on large?scale property finance and securitisation matters.
The firm employs around 350 people across England and Wales and supports a diverse client base, including major corporates, housing providers, charities, regulators, developers, investors, and private individuals. With sustained growth and a strong national reputation, the firm continues to expand its presence in key sectors.
Their property practice is particularly well known for its work in the affordable housing and property finance space, regularly advising on high?value, complex transactions.
The Role
This position is ideal for a detail?focused Property Paralegal with experience in conveyancing or property transactions who is looking to build expertise in property finance.
You’ll work closely with Partners and Solicitors on significant securitisation projects involving large property portfolios and complex funding structures. Alongside this, you’ll manage your own caseload of transactional matters under supervision, giving you exposure to high?quality, technical work.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting due diligence on large?scale property finance and securitisation transactions

Reviewing registered and unregistered titles
*
Obtaining and analysing Official Copy Entries and Land Registry documentation
*
Carrying out title checks and reporting on any issues identified
*
Conducting searches and liaising with Local Authorities and third?party organisations
*
Managing pre?completion searches and post?completion Land Registry requirements
*
Chasing outstanding documentation and progressing matters proactively
*
Assisting with the coordination and delivery of major property transactions
*
Providing regular updates to clients and fee earners
*
Supporting file management and transaction tracking
*
Assisting other paralegals within the team where needed
*
Meeting performance targets and ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards

Previous experience in a property or conveyancing?focused role

Strong drafting and legal research skills
