Job Description:
The Role
This is a hands on Demand Planning role. Day to day duties include:
*End to end stock planning & materials management
*Owning demand forecasting and weekly/monthly supply planning for a broad product portfolio with strong seasonal patterns.
*Creating data driven order plans in Excel using historic sales, seasonality and on hand stock.
*Coordinating inbound shipments and managing delivery scheduling.
*Managing stock across warehouses, including transfers and replenishment decisions.
*Plan production/packing schedule
*Reduce excess stock, prevent under stocking and minimise reliance on external 3PL storage.

Nigel Wright are thrilled to be working with a growing organisation who are looking to recruit a Demand Planner to join the team to take ownership of stock planning, supply continuity and inventory performance.
About You
The successful Demand Planner will be have:
• Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning or materials management.
• Strong Excel capability and comfort with analytical, judgement based planning.
• Experience working with an ERP
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to proactively manage long, inconsistent lead times.
• Motivated individual who is commercially minded.
• Someone who enjoys autonomy, problem solving and working closely with warehouse and commercial teams.
• Comfortable operating in a fast moving SME where every decision has real impact.
