MIG Welder
Location: Sheffield

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable MIG Welder to join our team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality MIG welding on a range of metal components while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform MIG welding on mild steel and other metals to a high standard
*Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
*Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning prior to welding
*Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
*Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely
*Carry out basic fabrication tasks when required
*Maintain a clean and organised working environment
*Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
*Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
*Ability to read and understand technical drawings
*Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
*Relevant welding qualifications or certifications preferred but not essential
Working Hours
*Full-time position
*Monday to Friday
*Overtime may be available depending on workload
