The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Conveyancer to join a busy retail mortgage services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will be responsible for your own caseload of conveyancing files and will work closely with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service to clients.
Responsibilities
*Manage your own caseload of conveyancing technical files, referring legal aspects to the Team Manager when necessary.
*Ensure all telephone calls are handled in a professional manner and that full, accurate telephone notes are recorded.
*Provide regular updates to clients and asset managers on the progress of matters.
*Attend client visits with the management team and contribute confidently to meetings and training.
*Make decisions on technical legal aspects of sales matters within your own caseload and support more junior colleagues with queries, escalating to senior colleagues when appropriate.
*Analyse case facts, identify issues, and discuss proposed actions with senior members of the wider team.
Keep up to date with changes in regulations, policies, procedures, and technical aspects of the conveyancing process, sharing relevant updates with colleagues where appropriate




The Person
The ideal applicant will need conveyancing experience and as well as this, be highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a passion for customer service.
*Previous conveyancing experience (essential).
*Experience of title checking freehold, leasehold, and shared-ownership properties.
*Experience drafting and providing detailed advice and proposed solutions to clients.
*A natural empathy and affinity with clients and a good telephone manner with clear diction.
*Strong numeracy skills.

£28-32,000


The Hours
Monday to Friday 9 am – 5pm

Bristol (Central Bristol, no car parking)
