HR Administrator / Admin Assistant
Gravesend (Office-based)
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Full-time or part-time considered
Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to build or develop your career within HR?
We are working with a well-established organisation seeking a motivated HR Admin Assistant to support a busy HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a supportive team.
The Role As an HR Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, including:
*Managing the HR mailbox and responding to queries
*Preparing HR documentation (offer letters, probation letters, resignations)
*Supporting onboarding processes and employee inductions
*Conducting new employee check-ins
*Maintaining training records and filing documentation
*Assisting HR and payroll teams
*Providing reception cover when required
*Ensuring first aid boxes are maintained
*Supporting with general administrative duties as needed
What We’re Looking For*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Confident and professional telephone manner
*Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
*Discretion and understanding of confidentiality
*Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential)*Previous HR or administrative experience
*Experience with onboarding systems or HR platforms
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
