BI Developer - On-Prem SQL- Hybrid (Reading)- up to £60,000
I am working with one of the UK’s most established and respected brands within the hospitality and food services sector. They’ve been operating for over 20 years, have a workforce of more than 10,000 people, and deliver high-quality, chef-led food services across corporate, education and hospitality environments.

You Will Work With
*Developing and optimising SQL databases (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning)
*Building and maintaining SSIS packages
*Designing and delivering on-prem ETL processes
*Data modelling and dimensional modelling
*Contributing to ongoing data warehouse builds and improvements
*Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the BI environment
*Working within a tight, supportive team - each with their own specialisms but always willing to help

Key Experience
Essential
*Strong SQL / T-SQL development
*Solid SSIS experience
*Proven ETL development background
*Data modelling & dimensional modelling
*Data warehousing (schema design + build)
*Experience as an on-prem BI Developer / SQL Data Engineer
*Ability to work independently with strong communication skills
Desirable
*Exposure to Power BI / DAX
*Experience with SQL DBA-type tasks
*Hospitality sector familiarity
*Bonus points if you’re someone who takes an interest in SQL community events
